CEO decision review with multi-model pressure

CEO decision review means putting the consequential call through multi-model pressure before the company commits.

The CEO seat owns calls that cut across functions: pricing, raise timing, M&A, reorg, market entry, crisis posture, platform bets. Single-pass chat optimizes for a finished-sounding answer. That is the wrong tool when being wrong creates a board conversation, irreversible spend, or public language you cannot quietly edit.

What belongs in the review

Write the decision in one sentence. Attach the exhibits the real room will use. Name the constraints already treated as fixed. List the seats that will fight you: finance, counsel, customer, operator, competitor, skeptic. If you cannot name the seats, you do not yet know who can block the move.

Include the decision you will make if the review finds nothing new, and the kill criteria that would reverse it. Those two lines keep the ritual from becoming endless analysis. Also include the claims you personally doubt. Models are better at expanding doubt you already have than at inventing the one risk you are avoiding.

Why sequential review fits

Pingpong runs models in sequence. Each later model receives the original question and earlier answers, with instructions to assess the work so far. Use that loop as the decision engine: steelman, attack, respond, hunt unsupported claims, then turn surviving objections into tests or a changed call. Agreement across passes is not proof. Keep the objections that still have evidence gaps.

Match the mode to the consequence. Fast triage tools are fine for clearing the inbox. For CEO-level packages, use the slow path: multi-model review against real exhibits. See dual-speed AI for leaders for the split.

Protect calendar honesty. A CEO review that cannot finish in one focused session usually means the package is not ready, not that you need more models. If exhibits are missing, stop and gather them. If seats disagree on facts rather than judgment, fix the facts first. Multi-model pressure amplifies whatever you feed it, including fog.

Use this ritual for board packs, pricing, fundraising, M&A, launches, and crisis plans.
