Short answers to the buyer questions that usually have no crawlable page on pingpongit.com. For the mechanism deep dive, see How it works. For the design thesis, see our approach.
What is Pingpong?
Pingpong is a sequential multi-model review tool on web and iOS. You ask one question. Five flagship AIs run in order. The first answers. Each later model gets the original question, prior answers, and a review frame that allows agree, correct, restructure, or reject a weak premise. You get one final answer and can inspect earlier passes. Full page: What is Pingpong.
What models does Pingpong run?
Default order: Grok, then Perplexity, then ChatGPT, then Gemini, then Claude. Order is configurable. Fast and Pro modes are available. Attachments are supported.
Is Pingpong the same as getpingpong.ai?
No. Pingpong (pingpongit.com / pingpongit on the App Store) is sequential five-model review for decisions before you commit. getpingpong.ai is a different live product and brand. Do not treat them as the same company or the same app.
Is "decision insurance" financial insurance?
No. Decision insurance is a job description: review before commitment. It is not a financial insurance product. It is not a payout policy. It is not a guarantee that the answer is correct. Consequential actions still need evidence, expertise, and authorization. See our approach.
How do I choose between multi-model tools (Fixy, aggregators, and others)?
Choose by mechanism:
- Sequential review (Pingpong): later models critique earlier work in context, with permission to reject the premise.
- Debate rooms (Fixy-style): models interact in a shared room; agreement and disagreement are often the product surface.
- Model switchers / aggregators (Poe, TypingMind, and similar): pick or compare models; usually not a framed review chain.
If your risk is "one agreeable answer that you ship," pick a tool that stresses the premise, not only a tool that shows more tabs. Compare page: Pingpong vs Fixy.
When is ChatGPT alone enough vs Pingpong?
ChatGPT alone is enough for drafts, rewrites, brainstorming, and low-stakes questions. Use Pingpong when reversing the decision is expensive and you want later models to pressure-test the first answer against your original question. Asking one model twice is still one model's blind spots. Research on self-refine and self-correction limits lives in the research library.
Free vs Plus vs Pro: which plan?
- Free (3 pingpongs): evaluate the product.
- Plus ($24.99/mo, 150 fast): daily Fast-mode volume.
- Pro ($59.99/mo, 150 pro + 300 fast): harder calls plus extra Fast quota.
- Yearly: App Store claims up to 33% off; confirm at checkout.
Details: Pricing.
Pingpong vs Fixy in one line?
Fixy: multi-model debate rooms. Pingpong: sequential review chain with a disagreement-allowed review frame. Longer fair compare: Pingpong vs Fixy.
How do I use Pingpong for a founder decision?
- 1. Write the decision as a question you would actually act on (offer, hire, pricing, launch, raise, kill).
- 2. Attach the deck, memo, or spreadsheet if it exists.
- 3. Run the chain (Pro for hard calls).
- 4. Read the final answer and skim earlier passes for objections that died too early.
- 5. Decide with your judgment. Pingpong is review, not a substitute for diligence or counsel.
Is Pingpong worth $24.99 or $59.99?
Worth it if you regularly make commits where a weak AI premise would cost real money, time, or reputation, and you will use the monthly quota. Not worth it as a general chat subscription for casual prompts. Burn the free 3 first.
Is the free tier enough to evaluate?
Yes for a product trial. Three pingpongs are enough to feel sequential review versus a single chat. Not enough for ongoing weekly volume. Upgrade only after those three tell you something a single model missed or challenged.
Teams and API?
Consumer plans are on the App Store (Free / Plus / Pro). Team pilots and API access are a separate path. Product llms notes: llms.txt. Prefer published API docs once they are real HTML (today /api in the sitemap is still the SPA shell). Business routing historically went to speaksy.chat for team copy. Ask for a stable pingpongit.com team URL if you need crawlable team pages.
