Turn client feedback into a revision list

Client feedback often puts contradictory requests, vague preferences, and a few specific changes in one message. Paste it in and ask for a structured list so you know what is actually being asked.

A text to start with

Here is the feedback I received from a client on [deliverable type]: [paste feedback]. Pull out every distinct revision request and list them. Flag any two requests that contradict each other. For any request too vague to act on, write one clarifying question I should send back. Do not fill in the vague parts or guess what the client means.

Example request. Change the details to fit your situation.

What to check in the answer

Confirm that each item appears in the original feedback. Summaries sometimes merge two requests into one or drop a small comment the client will notice later. The flagged conflicts matter most. Do not start work on two contradictory items until the client says which direction applies. If any feedback touches pricing, scope, or your original contract, read the contract before agreeing to the change.

What to do next

Send the clarifying questions as one grouped message. When the client settles the conflicts, paste the resolved list back in and ask for a suggested order of work based on your deadline.
