- Dispute fees shown in the balance transaction or account terms.
- Any additional fee for challenging the dispute.
- Staff time, outside help and other future costs.
- Which amounts would be returned after each possible outcome.
Verify the current terms
Stripe distinguishes received and countered dispute fees, with contract and regional exceptions. Use its current fee documentation and your own account terms. A universal dollar amount would be misleading.
