OpenAI plugin
Privacy Policy
How Adore LLC handles information when you use Pingpong through ChatGPT, Codex, or another OpenAI plugin surface.
Effective July 10, 2026
What we receive
The plugin receives the question and optional context that OpenAI sends when it calls the pingpong_decision tool. The request may also include the selected rigor and public-source settings.
We process standard technical data needed to operate and protect the service, including request identifiers, timestamps, network metadata, response status, latency, model route, usage, rate-limit, and cost information.
The plugin does not request your OpenAI profile, email address, payment information, contacts, or files.
How we use information
- Run the requested analysis through selected AI models.
- Retrieve public web sources when the request calls for current evidence.
- Return one structured answer with source and verification details.
- Enforce rate limits and cost controls, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and provide support.
We do not sell plugin request data or use it for advertising.
Service providers
Depending on the route selected for a request, question content may be sent to AI providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Perplexity, and Mistral. Public-source requests may also be sent to Exa and Perplexity. Hetzner hosts the Pingpong API service.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Pingpong selects only the providers needed for the requested route.
Storage and retention
Raw questions and context are not stored in the API operational usage ledger. The service retains request hashes and operational metadata for billing integrity, reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
A generated response may be cached for up to 24 hours so an identical retry can be returned safely without repeating paid model work. Provider systems may retain request data according to their own policies. Encrypted infrastructure backups and security logs follow our operational retention schedules.
Sensitive information
Do not submit payment card data, protected health information, passwords, authentication codes, private keys, or other secrets through this plugin.
Security
Requests use HTTPS. The plugin's service credential remains server-side. The API applies bounded request sizes, rate and concurrency limits, provider health controls, request tracing, tamper-evident usage records, and monthly cost ceilings.
Your choices
You can avoid sending information to Pingpong by not invoking the plugin. For an access, deletion, correction, or privacy request, contact us with the approximate date and time of the request. Do not include the original sensitive content in support email.
Children
Pingpong is not designed for or marketed to children under 13, and the plugin should not be used to submit personal information about children.
