Ask a hotel the questions the listing leaves out

A room description may leave out the detail that matters most to your stay. Turn your requirements into a short message the hotel can answer directly.

A text to start with

Draft a message to this hotel before I book. I need a quiet room, elevator access and a place to store luggage after checkout. Ask whether these are guaranteed or only requests. Keep it polite, specific and short enough for the hotel's contact form.

Example request. Change the details to fit your situation.

What to check in the reply

Check that the message distinguishes a room feature from a preference. An elevator in the building does not confirm a step-free route to every room. Quietness is subjective, so explain any concrete concern, such as a room away from a bar. Do not let the draft imply the hotel has already promised an arrangement or approved an exception.

The next step

Send the message through the hotel's published contact channel and keep its written reply with your booking. If the answer is vague, ask one follow-up about the requirement that would change your decision. Compare the reply with the actual room category before paying; a general answer may not cover every available room.
