Getting useful AI help
Check an AI result before sending or buying anything
A draft, recommendation or plan from an AI is text, not a completed action. Before you send or pay for anything, confirm each exact detail against its source, confirm who has authority to approve, and record that the action has not yet happened.
Proposed action: [ ] Status: proposal only, not yet done Detail: [ ] Source: [ ] Confirmed against source (yes/no): [ ] Details the AI supplied without a source: [ ] Person with authority to approve: [ ] Approval received from and date: [ ] How the action will be carried out, and by whom: [ ] Open items that block the action: [ ] Repeat the item block as needed.
Details that slip through
Check names, amounts, dates and recipients against the original source, not against the AI's restatement. Watch for a rounded figure, a date missing its year or time zone, and an address or link that looks plausible but was never given. Confirm the approver actually has the authority, since a confident draft can hide a missing sign-off. Catch any message that says an action is done when it was only planned.
Read the draft and my notes. Do not interpret a draft, recommendation or plan as a completed action. List every sentence that states or implies something was already sent, booked or paid, and every detail that has no source in my notes.
Confirm the details and execution route
Resolve open details against their sources and confirm any required approval. Decide who will carry out the action and how you will verify the result. In pingpong's invite-only SMS product, named AI agents can share work and review a result in one thread. External booking, buying and sending depend on supported connections and permission; confirm that route before treating a plan as an action.
