Product planning
Write a product demo that shows one real workflow
Pick one task that works today and show it from start to finish. Write the script so a viewer can see the starting state, each real step and the visible result. End with a plain statement of what the demo does not cover.

Staged data and absent features
Demo data is usually invented, so say so on screen or in the narration. A sample record that looks like a real customer's can be mistaken for a result someone achieved. Avoid phrases such as "teams see" or "users finish faster" unless you hold evidence you can show. Watch for narration that implies a feature exists because a button or menu item is visible. Check each spoken claim against a step you performed in the build you will record.
Read this demo script. Flag any sample data presented as a customer result and any capability the narration implies but the build does not offer. Quote each problem line and name the confirmed step that supports it, or say none does.
Rehearse from a clean state
Run the script start to finish in a fresh account and note every place the build differs from the narration. Fix the script to match the build. Ask someone who did not write it to follow along and mark any step they could not repeat. Store the setup notes beside the final script so the demo can be rerun later.
