Spotting what changed between two versions of a document is tedious by eye and easy to get wrong. Paste both versions and say what you want compared, and an assistant can list differences in facts, dates, and wording for you to review.

A text to start with
I have two versions of a lease amendment, an original from March and a revised one from last week. Please list what changed between them. I am watching for changes to the monthly amount, the lease end date, the notice period required to vacate, and any new clauses that were not in the original. List the differences factually so I can review them with the other party. This is not a request for legal advice.

What to check in the answer
Check each listed difference against both documents yourself. An assistant can miss a change buried in a long paragraph or misread a handwritten correction. Each difference should be described by what the text says, not by what it might mean in practice. If a change adds or removes an obligation, the list should name it without saying whether it is favorable or enforceable. Those judgments belong to the people signing or to a qualified adviser.
Next step
Use the list as a reference when you discuss the revision with the other party. If a change is unclear, or you want to know whether certain wording is standard for your area, bring both versions to a qualified person before signing.
