Getting around
Compare commute routes for your actual work hours
A route comparison is useful only if it matches the hours you actually travel. Give your home area, your workplace address and your shift times so the comparison reflects the service running at those hours.
What to check in the answer
Look at the departure times the answer lists. Service is often much less frequent early in the morning than at midday, so a route that looks fine in general may leave a long gap at 7 a.m. Treat any driving time as a baseline, since traffic at your hours may be heavier or lighter. Pass prices and fares should be checked on the operator's current fare page before you buy anything.
What to do next
Choose the option that fits your hours, then ask for the stop nearest your workplace and the walk from there. If arriving on time matters more to you than cost, ask whether the operator publishes on-time performance for that line. Confirm current fares and schedules with the operator before committing.
